The Renaissance Room is dominated by the massive Victorian quarter-canopy mahogany bed and antique painted Chinese chest. The large, bright, second floor room is painted in rich red, accented with sumptuous gold and cream fabrics. The room-sized oriental carpet completes the feel of the Victorian era. The walls are adorned with Russian fable plates, an original Toulouse-Lautrec engraving, oil paintings of Venice, a large gilded mirror, and a needlework bell pull. The Renaissance Room -- with its adjoining bathroom with double shower heads, and a private balcony - is $175 per night. |
